Is panelpro.io legit or scam?

Honestly, I was fully expecting this thing to be a scam.
If you’ve ever tried to make a few extra bucks on standard survey sites, you already know how soul-crushing it is. You spend 20 minutes answering questions about what kind of toothpaste you buy, only to get hit with a Sorry, you don't qualify for this study screen after they’ve already taken your data. It's a massive waste of time.
So when I saw panelpro.io and their portal participate.panelpro.io popping up, I thought it was a scam. But I decided to actually look into it and see what the deal was.
Panel Pro is actually the proprietary tool for User Research International (URIX). If you work in tech, dev, or UX, you might have heard of them. They’re a legitimate, massive research agency that companies like Microsoft and other tech giants hire to handle their user testing. Knowing there was a real corporate entity cutting the checks—and not some random data-scraping bot—was the first green flag.
How it actually works
The absolute best thing about it is that they don’t play the qualification game.
When you sign up, you fill out a pretty detailed profile about your professional background (it’s heavily geared toward tech, data, and business professionals).
If you get an invite, you’re already in. They don't send you random stuff just to disqualify you 10 minutes later.
* The "micro-surveys" are usually just 1 to 3 targeted questions. You jump in, answer them in literally two minutes, and hit submit.
* The payouts for these quick hits are usually anywhere from $1 to $2.
* If you happen to land one of their full, 60-minute live research interviews, those usually pay $100 to $150 for an hour of your time.
The Payout Process
They don’t use a sketchy point system where 10,000 "tokens" equals five bucks.
As soon as you finish, they send the reward through a platform called Tremendous. You get an email, click it, and pick how you want the cash. You can do a virtual Visa, direct deposit, or just get an Amazon gift card. It hits your inbox fast, and you don't have to hit some massive $50 minimum threshold just to cash out.
