Years ago we use to connect bank account using two small deposits and verification.
Now there is the thing call Plaid that want our bank's password to connect our bank account.
PLAID is a company that makes API for connecting your bank account to app and services.

The easiest way for users to connect their bank accounts to an app (and also get your money stolen).... actually it is not even the easiest way
And 90 percents of the times I can't even connect my bank account successfully. Things always goes wrong. Mostly during verifications process, or sometimes when everything is done, then these apps that connect using Plaid usually crashed after the connection process is finished.
I don't know why apps like to make us connect bank account using Plaid, maybe it is easier for development, but it is dangerous for the users, since we need to input our password and user name, and sometime Plaid ask you for the security questions too, and phone verifications too.
So alot of hackers are taking advantage of this vulnerable API.
Now, hackers are taking money from my bank accounts, and I think this is because I used Plaid.
And also I am getting alot of scam email, maybe these third party app leaked my bank informations to the hackers.

I think VISA is going to own Plaid soon, so hopefully things get better.
Because the good thing about this Plaid's API is that you can connect your bank faster, without having to wait days for small deposit confirmation.
But I don't think we should be waiting for days to get small deposits. Since we can transfer money instantly, so why are we having to wait for days to get small deposts confirmation.
